A number of stringed-instrument builders in the Seattle area have begun getting together to share information about their craft. We meet in person on the second Tuesday of each month, alternating between a hands-on technical presentation at someone's shop and a celebratory dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. In between, there's nothing to keep us from talking about our favorite subjects one-on-one.
This web page is meant to help foster that same kind of exchange in a medium that's always available, by introducing members, keeping track of past and future meetings and other projects, providing a moderated bulletin board and posting references to other published material.
The essense of our association is informality. There is no official organization, just a chance to seek or contribute infomation. If you're interested, sign up, call or write a member, or just watch this space. Suggestions are welcome.
