Only a few months old, the Seattle Luthiers Group has made its first public appearance in a joint exhibition by several of its members at the Northwest Folklife Festival during the 1999 Memorial Day weekend at Seattle Center. Those showing their work included Clint Ferrell, Jason Lollar, Jay Hargreaves, David Haxton, David Brooks, David Dorning, Jerry Timm, Brent McElroy, Michael Gurian, Dave Krause and Paul Hass. Great credit is due to all represented, and in particular to Michael Gurian for the elegant nameplates and to David Brooks who spearheaded the application process. |
